Dahab isn't Sharm El Sheikh. Nightlife here is relaxed — shisha on the waterfront, cold beers, occasional live music and the odd beach party. That's part of the charm.
Updated April 2026Shisha (hookah/water pipe) is a central part of Dahab's evening culture. Almost every restaurant and cafe on the waterfront serves it. Expect to pay 100–200 EGP for a shisha session. It's completely normal to sit for 2–3 hours over one shisha and several teas — the Egyptian way to spend an evening.
