The Blue Lagoon (also called Laguna) is a natural shallow lagoon 3km north of Dahab town. It's sheltered from ocean swell, giving flat water conditions ideal for learning. Depths are 0.5–1.5m across most of the lagoon — if you crash your kite, you just stand up. The wind here is thermal-driven and remarkably consistent from March through October.
