What it is
If you only have one evening in Dahab, this is the safe pick. The Funny Mummy is the most consistently busy bar in town — you'll meet other travellers, the cocktails are well-made and the kitchen runs late. The shisha terrace upstairs is the calmer half of the venue. Quiz night (usually Tuesday) is a Dahab institution; live music and themed parties land most weekends. Cocktails are fairly priced for the quality, and the food menu is wider than most bars in town.
