These terms apply when you book an experience on askdahab.com. Please read them before you pay — by booking, you agree to them.
1. Who we are
Ask Dahab is a trading name of NEXAGENTS LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 16823472, registered office 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX ("we", "us").
Ask Dahab is an online booking platform for experiences in Dahab, Egypt. The experiences are run by independent local providers — dive centres, guides, boat and safari operators. You can contact us at support@askdahab.com.
2. How booking works
- You choose an experience, the date and the number of people. You can also choose a provider; if you don't, we choose a suitable local provider for you.
- You pay the full price online when you book. Your booking is confirmed straight away, and we email you the confirmation.
- We pass your booking to the provider, who runs the experience on the date you chose. Your confirmation tells you who the provider is and how to reach them.
- Please give correct contact details, and read the experience description — what is included, the meeting point, the duration and any requirements — before you book.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in the currency of the offer (usually Egyptian pounds, EGP). The price shown when you book is the total you pay for the experience as described, for the number of people you choose.
You pay by card through Stripe, our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details. Your bank may charge a currency conversion or foreign transaction fee; this is between you and your bank.
Payments are received by NEXAGENTS LTD. We pay the provider after the experience.
4. Cancellation and refunds
- Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the trip: if you cancel at least 48 hours before your trip date begins (00:00 Egypt time on that day), you get a full refund.
- Less than 48 hours before the trip: no refund.
- If you don't show up, or arrive too late to take part: no refund.
- To cancel, email support@askdahab.com or message us on WhatsApp with your booking reference. The time we receive your message counts.
- Refunds go back to the card you paid with. Banks usually show a refund within 5–10 business days.
- If you would like a different date, contact us. We will help where the provider has space, but a change of date is not guaranteed.
5. If the trip can't go ahead
Sometimes a provider can't run a trip — for example because of weather or sea conditions, safety reasons, or the provider being unavailable. If this happens, we will offer you a new date or another provider for the same experience. If none of these works for you, you get a full refund.
6. On the day
- Arrive on time at the meeting point given in your confirmation or by the provider.
- Follow the provider's safety instructions. Tell the provider about any health condition that matters for the activity — for example for diving or snorkelling.
- The provider may refuse to let someone take part if it would not be safe, for example if a stated requirement is not met.
- Bookings must be made by an adult (18 or over). Children must be accompanied by an adult; some activities have a minimum age set by the provider.
7. Our role and the provider's
Ask Dahab arranges your booking and takes your payment. The provider is an independent local business or guide and is responsible for running the experience safely and as described. We check providers before we list them, but we do not run the activities ourselves.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited — for example for death or personal injury caused by our negligence — or takes away your rights as a consumer.
8. Reviews
After your trip we may email you a one-time link to review the provider. Reviews must be honest and about your own experience. We may hide reviews that contain insults, personal details or advertising.
9. Questions, complaints and disputes
If something isn't right, contact us at support@askdahab.com as soon as possible — ideally during or right after the trip, so we can help. We will look into it and reply as soon as we can.
Please contact us before you dispute a payment with your bank, so we can sort it out quickly.
10. Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protections given to you by the law of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts of your home country or of England and Wales.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you book applies to your booking. How we use your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
