About this experience
North of the Blue Hole the road ends, and the only way on is by camel or boat. Ras Abu Galum is a protected Bedouin area of turquoise bays, desert mountains and some of the healthiest reef in the gulf. You ride a camel for about an hour along the coast, snorkel the reef straight off the beach, and eat a simple Bedouin lunch in the shade. It's a slow, beautiful day that feels a world away from anywhere.

No — it's a gentle walk led by a Bedouin guide along a flat coastal path. Suitable for most ages.
Can I go if I can't swim well?
Yes. The snorkelling is in shallow, calm water and you can stay close to shore or use a flotation vest.
